A native of Danielsville, GA, she was a daughter of Carlton and Izora Culbertson Echols.

Survivors include her husband of almost sixty years, Jack Burroughs; two children, Pete (Bridget Paul) Burroughs of Crawford and Beth (Darrell) Wages of Colbert; sister, Hilda Moon of Conyers; four grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
