Betty Mann Bennett

April 26, 1935 — April 22, 2024

Watkinsville

With heavy hearts but unwavering faith, we announce the passing of Betty Mann Bennett. On April 22, 2024, Betty peacefully departed this world to stand with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and to reunite with her beloved husband of 65 years, Herbert Lincoln Bennett, in eternal rest.

Betty was born on April 26, 1935, to Roy Calvin Mann and Ora Belle Adams Mann. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, William C. Mann and Donald J. Mann, and sister Virginia Chandler.

Betty's legacy lives on through her devoted children: Randy Bennett (Lynn), Norma Holliday (Mike), and Rusty Bennett. She was a cherished grandmother to Ashley Downs (Jordan), Abby Rutledge (Patrick), and Whitney Veal (Dustin), and a source of joy to her nine great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by her brothers Bobby Mann (Linda) and Gerald Mann, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends whose lives she touched profoundly.

In her journey through life, Betty found solace and strength in her faith, which she shared generously with her family and community. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones were evident to all who knew her. In her later days, she found great support in the kindness and thoughtful care of Mrs. Sheila Lee, the staff at The Landing: Senior Living, and Ashley Metz with Compassionate Care Hospice.

Though our hearts ache at her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Betty's spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she created. May her soul find eternal peace in the loving embrace of Jesus, and may her memory continue to inspire and guide us in the days to come.
