Belen Florez Epperson

Belen Florez Epperson, 64, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

Belen taught Spanish at the University of North Georgia for several years. She was a talented dancer with a passion for both Latin and Ballroom dance. Belen also enjoyed aerobics and spending time at the Oconee County Senior Center where she made many friends. Most importantly, she loved God, our Lord Jesus, and enjoyed daily scripture readings and prayer with her beloved husband, Jim. Belen was preceded in death by her parents,

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, James "Jim" Epperson.
