Barbara Jean Flowers Kiddy

Barbara Jean Flowers Kiddy of Statham passed on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Bobby & Hazel Flowers of Gulfport, MS.

Ms. Kiddy was retired from Gwinnett Medical Center after starting with the hospital system in 1982 at Joan Glancy Memorial in Duluth. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden and keeping her flowers vibrant. She enjoyed antiques, crafts, and watching crime mystery shows like "Law & Order" and "NCIS", but her westerns like "The Virginian" kept her intrigued. Barbara has always been involved in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, helping to mold them into responsible young adults and enjoyed making memories with them. She would help anyone she could. While still the Office Manager for the Engineering Dept., she was firm in giving assignments/disciplining to the guys working, but she always respected them and they respected her in return. They knew, along with so, so many others, of her good since of humor that always came with a big, beautiful smile!

Ms. Kiddy was proceeded in death by her youngest son, Ronald J. Sather and granddaughter, Anna M. Sather, both of Statham; sister, Voncey Moran of Biloxi, MS and brother, Bobby Flowers Jr. of Gulfport, MS. Barbara was survived by two sons, Christian M. Sather Jr. and Robert E. Sather both of Statham; a daughter, Laura L. Patrick, also of Statham. She leaves two sisters, Myrtle Robinson and Rena Wallace of Gulfport, MS and a brother, Herbert Flowers also of Gulfport, MS. She will also be terribly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 2:00pm at Bogart Christian Church, 194 Elder Street, Bogart GA 30622
