Annis Orand (Holcomb) Herring

Annis Holcomb Orand Herring of Athens passed away on April 3, 2023. A native of Clarke County, and the daughter of the late Lon Holcomb and Eunie Edwards Holcomb; a was married to the late Grady E. Orand and John W. Herring. She was a graduate of Athens High School (Class of 1944). She worked as a Bookkeeper for 54 years; retired from Rice and Giles, P.C. accounting firm. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Athens.

Preceding her in death were her two brothers and eight sisters.

Memorial services are on April 12, 2023, at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Lord & Stephens, West Chapel with Rev. Frank Granger officiating. The family will visit prior to the service from 1:00 pm to service time. The inurnment will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her son, Milton E. Orand; daughter-in-law, Patrice M. Orand; granddaughter, Lisa Sugarman (Jeremy); grandson, Neil G. Orand (Tara); great-grandchildren, Josiah and Joshua Sugarman, Lilybelle Orand, and Neil Grady Orand, Jr.
