Ann Whitfield Clendenin

Ann Whitfield Clendenin 84 of Athens, GA, passed away on May 17, 2023. She was the daughter of the late, James T. & Mary M. Whitfield; also preceded by her husband, John Clendenin and daughter, Robyn Clendenin. She was also preceded by two brothers and a sister. Mrs. Clendenin attended and was a member of East Athens Baptist Church. She was a UGA graduate with a Master's Degree and was a retired social worker, and traveled to all 50 states.
Funeral services are Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Lord & Stephens, East Chapel with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. The family will visit from 3:00 pm until service time. The interment will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
Survivors are Son and Daughter, Andy (Shirley) Clendenin and Ginger (Greg) Fender; brother, Robert (Genie) Whitfield; grandchildren, Brad (Ana) Smith, Cassidy (Jared) Fimple, Kelli (Austin) Greer, Cana (Matt) Hill, Amanda Smallwood, and Tanner Smallwood; five great-grandchildren.
