Alvia Garland "Al" Hall

Alvia Garland "Al" Hall, 73, died Thursday, September 10, 2015. A native of Salem, VA, Al was the son of the late Jesse James Hall and Myrtle Sizemore Hall. He retired from the Maryland Transit Administration as a Subway Supervisor. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Darlene Shupe Hall, children: Linda Saunders and Brian Hall: grandsons: Dennis Skelton and Eric Saunders and Leilani, Kekoa, Cameran and Scott Hall; great grandson: Linoln and Roman; brothers: Thomas and Gary Hall; sister: Beulah Terry: brothers and sister in law: Jeff Shupe, Thomas and Esther Barber and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Evans officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the funeral home.
