Allen Leon "Red" Goss, 73, died October 1, 2011.
Born in Madison County, he was the son of the late Fred and Floretta Evans Goss and was preceded in death by a son, Ron Goss. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and retired roofing contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Youngblood Dawkins; brother, Howard Goss and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, Danielsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, 1888 Colbert Danielsville Road, Danielsville, GA 30633.
