Alice Ann Hardigree, 72, died January 26, 2011.
Born in Oconee County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Grady Hardigree, Sr. and Annie Jane Norville Hardigree.
Ms. Hardigree was a graduate of Watkinsville High School. She was member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and a graduate of the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Chemistry in 1959 and her Masters of Chemistry in 1962. She made her home in Knoxville since 1962 and was a retired Biochemist with Oakridge National Laboratories - Biology Division. She was a member of Ashford Memorial Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Watkinsville Cemetery with Rev. Thomas E. Cochran officiating.
Survivors include her brother and sister in law, C.G. "Bo" and Joyce Hardigree; niece, Holly Stephenson (Tom); great nephew, Brad Stephenson; twin great nieces, Annie and Camille Stephenson and several cousins
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the Watkinsville Cemetery Fund or Ashford Memorial Methodist Church.
