Alberta Patat, 69, of Athens passed away on June 5, 2025. Born on December 3, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Albert Leo Brink and Mable Wieland Brink.
Alberta was a loving, compassionate person who enjoyed caring for others and often took on the role as caregiver for those in need. She loved to sing and going to karaoke where she sang a wide variety of songs but enjoyed country music the most. She kept things clean and tidy and was a devoted wife and mother who adored her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leonard Patat, Sr.; six brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her children, Charles Leonard Patat, Jr., Albertina Lynn Brown; grandson, Kevin Ferguson; great grandson, Chace McQueen.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Lord & Stephens, EAST, Athens. Funeral services will be held the following day, Wednesday, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, EAST, with Pastor Corrie McClary officiating. Interment will follow at Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
