Ann Clark Taylor passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the home of her daughter.She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend by all who knew and loved her.

Ann was born in Mitchell County, GA. She was the daughter of the late Julius and Julia Griner Clark. Ann graduated from Sale City High school and Marsh Business College in Atlanta, GA. She was a member of Sale City Baptist Church for 80 years. She taught the Sunday School "Action" class for 10 years. Ann loved her church family and spending most of her free time studying God's word. Ann worked and retired from The Moultrie Observer after 25 years of service as a Graphic Artist. She worked as a caregiver for many years for many dear friends in Camilla, GA.

Survivors include her daughter Cindy Taylor Brenden and son-in-law Steve Brenden of Monroe, GA; her grandchildren Steven Taylor Brenden of Atlanta, GA, Lee Brenden of Athens, GA, and Anna Brenden of Athens; great-granddaughter Nora June Brenden of Atlanta; Ann's brother, Mr.and Mrs. Robert Clark of Athens, and sister-in-law Ann C. Clark of Ila; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her son James “Jimbo” R. Taylor, Jr.; her siblings Myrvin Clark, Donald Clark, Louie Clark, Lee Savage, Valda Goss, Jean Bultman, and her twin sister Nan Mcquillen.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Sale City Baptist Church in Sale City, GA, with Reverend Tim Bozeman officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
