Obituary

Pamela Preston Mize of Crawford, Georgia, passed away after a brief illness on November 16, 2022.

Pam was the daughter of the late Rae E. Preston, Sr. and Florrie Mae M. Preston of Macon, Georgia.

Pam is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joe G. Mize; her son Scott McIntosh-Mize and his wife Patty; her daughter Kathy Mize Ogle and husband Donnie; her grandsons Jared D. Ogle, Preston Palmer, and Warren Palmer; and by her brothers Steven L. Preston and Rae E. Preston, Jr.

Pam was a 1962 graduate of A.L. Miller High School in Macon and attended Augusta College. Though she was employed outside the home at various times in her life, she was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy was time spent with family.

Funeral services will be held at Tuckston United Methodist Church on Lexington Road at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 19, 2022.  The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall of Tuckston UMC immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions in Pam’s name to Tuckston United Methodist Church or to the charitable organization of your choice.
