Obituary
M. Louise Butler, 81, of Athens, passed away on December 7, 2022. Born in Blue Ridge, GA. on April 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Charles Quintrell and Madeline Farmer Quintrell.
Louise was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Statham. She was an avid sports fan, loved watching her grandchildren play multiple sports, enjoyed cooking, hunting, camping, and fishing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Butler.
Survivors include her children, Scott Butler, Eddie Butler (Lisa), Tommy Butler, Janet Conglose (Joey); 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 niece & 1 nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, West. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Entombment will take place at Evergreen Memorial park on Monday for family only.
