Janemarie Comisky Gabriel

Janemarie Comisky Gabriel, 73, of Colbert, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. 

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Comisky and Jane Downe Comisky.  

Survivors include her husband, Harry James Gabriel; step-children, Tracie Brunson (Tim), Laurie Anne Gabriel, and Kathie Alford (Scott); siblings, Martha Ferrell (Rob) and Bill Comisky (Beth); grandchildren, Ashley Donaldson, JB Collins, Kristen Alford, Reese Alford, and Blake Alford; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow in the Winterville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rusty Gabriel, Cecil Gabriel, Jason Gabriel, Scott Alford, Dave Ward, and Brian Comisky. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. 

The family welcomes flowers or a donation to the American Cancer Society in Janemarie’s memory.  Lord and Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements.
