Condolence From: Shawn Dalton
Condolence: I've know Mike well over ten years now. We put many jobs in together over that time frame. I not sure how many times I heard him say "I'm gonna get you Dalton!" But I always knew if I truly needed something he'd be there for me. We shared many laughs together, but when it was time to buckle down and get it done Mike was in there leading the way. Rest in peace brother.

Condolence From: Ty Whitehead
Condolence: I've known might for 12 years, one of the most genuine men I've ever met. Kind hearted, honest and funny come immediately to mind when I think of him. Also strong as an ox and the luckiest poker player ever. I'm thankful I had the opportunity to befriend such a man. Pray you rest well with God and his blessings on the Smith family.

Condolence: I first met Mike at the old vet med facility, since day one one I knew I had a brother and a friend that would do anything for me. He geniunly cared about the men working beside him. He was a great brother and more importantly he was a great friend. You'll be deeply miss Mike. See you on the other side my Brother.

Condolence From: Cord O'Kelley
Condolence: I met Mike in 2013 and immediately could see this man didn't know a stranger or someone that wasn't a friend as a coworker. Since then nothing changed except his loyalty grew stronger and his eggerness to lend a helping hand to anyone. Many good laughs and tough jobs put in together over these last four years. I am thankful to have gotten to know you. Mike, you will be missed by many. Rest In Peace Brother.

Condolence: I met Mike on my first construction job at UGA vet med but really didn't get to know him until he was my jw last summer and fall. He'd tell me story's of how it used to be and how us younger generation apprentice have it a lot easier now. He taught me how to work hard and that there is always a way to get the job done. He's definitely one of the hardest workers I know, always first in line to stay late or work weekends and always willing to give a helping hand on or off the job site. Rest easy Mike.

Condolence: I've known Mike for 15 years ever since I started working for Inglett. Truly one of a kind and one of the best men I've ever worked with. He was good to every man equal as the other. Honest and hard working. The thing I admired about Mike the most is that I never once in 15 years saw him give up on anything! No matter how challenging the task he was given, no matter how long it took, no matter the circumstance his life may have been in, no matter the lack of reward offered for being so persistent, if he said he would do it, it was done without excuse, every single time! He was a Mans' Man. A Man of his Word. I was proud to have known him and will miss him years to come.

Rest in Peace Brother.

Condolence: I've know Mike for about 8-9 years. I met him when I first started working for Inglett. We have worked together off and on a good bit the past few years and I really have enjoyed it. He made sure to ask how you were if you needed anything every morning. And if you needed anything or ask Mike for anything you'd probably get it. He really was a good genuine person. I have tons of funny stories about Mike and times we had together at work. That's how I'll remember him. I can truly say Mike was my friend and I'll miss him.

Condolence From: Alan Austin
Condolence: I recently was Mike's foreman on the UGA Soccer Complex. He had also worked on DEP-1 Chiller Plant,Georgia Center Kitchen Renovation,Sanford Stadium Power Distribution Maintenance, and the Center of Molecular Medicine. Although I have only known him for 2 years we had bonded. He would tell me how much he liked me and that he wanted to work with me whatever job we had. He enjoyed having lunch with the guys and would load us up in that big White Chevy. Sometimes he would call after work and talk about the day and before hanging up he would ask what kind of biscuit I wanted in the morning. This guy was a gentle giant with a heart of gold.Brother you will be missed.Rest in Peace Mike!
